1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or participating in any Badfish Surf Club activity, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform or attend our events.
2. Membership
Membership in Badfish Surf Club is subject to approval. We reserve the right to accept or decline membership applications at our discretion. Members must be 18 years of age or older. Your membership is personal and non-transferable.
3. Waiver and Assumption of Risk
Surfing and ocean activities involve inherent risks including injury and death. By participating in any Badfish Surf Club session or event, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Badfish Surf Club, its organizers, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation. A signed waiver is required before attending any session.
4. Payments and Refunds
Session fees are charged at the time of registration. Refunds are issued at the discretion of club administrators. If a session is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances, members will be notified and refunds or credits will be issued as applicable. Paid sessions require a cancellation request to be submitted; refunds are not automatic.
5. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to treat fellow members, instructors, and the ocean environment with respect. Any harassment, unsafe behavior, or conduct detrimental to the club may result in immediate removal from a session and termination of membership without refund.
6. Photos and Content
Photos taken at club events may be used for club promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in club photos, notify an organizer before the session. Photos you upload to your member profile remain your property; by uploading them you grant the club a license to display them within the member platform.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
